Joomla is a dynamic CMS (Content Management System) that used to create any website or blogsite within a shorter time. Most of the famous organizations for example EBay, Pizza Hat, Unicef, UN, etc. have made their website by Joomla. Now Joomla is the top CMS including WordPress, Mambo, Drupal and TypePad etc. Many of the users try to make website by Joomla but they don't understand how to install it, some say that it can be installed by making their PC a server PC
Using a software XAMPP, but i will show you all how to install it to a real server without installing local server within a shorter minutes. Let's go ahead and learn this tutorial easily.
Procedures of Uploading Joomla to Real Server
- First of all go to 000webhost.com
- Click on "Sign Up" button, below of right navigation bar
- The signing up page will come and you've to provide the all required informations
- The page below should appear. Now sign in to your provided email account and you will see an activation link has been sent. You just have to click on that link and your account will be validated in a moment
- Now the page below should appear after clicking on refresh status
- Go to your control panel and find out 1 click website restore, click on browse and find out your targeted Joomla version and finally click on the upload button. It may take shorter minutes to upload the Joomla
- After uploading, the message below should appear that doesn't mean any problem of your Joomla uploading in spite of showing the message "Your Joomla Uploading Failed"
- Now write down your site address to the browser address bar and click on "Enter" button and you will see the Joomla installation page has come now you have to follow the steps below
Procedures of Installing Joomla
- First step is to choose language, make sure it's as default as English (US or UK) and click on "Next" button on to right
- Now Joomla "Pre-Installation Check" will come you don't have to do anything right here click on "Next" button
- Joomla installation license key will be appeared it's default just click on "Next" button
- Important thing, "Database Configuration" will come, now what things you need to do just Log-In to your 000webhost account> go to your control panel> click on "Mysql"> write down any of the name of your database mentioned below> provide you 000webhost account password and finally click on "Create Database"
- Now you will get all of your "Mysql" informations mentioned below and insert all of the required informations to the "Joomla Database Configuration" page
- Keep default the database type as "Mysql" and insert all other required informations of "Mysql Host Name", "Username", "Password" as well as "DatabaseName" and make sure that "Username" and "DatabaseName" are all the same and at long last click on "Next" button
- Over here "FTP Configuration" will come and you don't need to do anything just click on "Next" button
- The "Main Configuration" will come and what things you need to provide, just insert any of name as your "Site Name" it will be shown on your "Administrator Control Panel" and prove your "Email" and "Admin Pass" (Administrator password is most important and your should use a simple password) finally click on "Install Sample Data" button and you'd see Sample Data Installed Successfully this message you just then click on "Next" button
- A red marked message will be appeared and it says that you've to remove a file named "Installation", to do that you just have to follow this procedure, Log-In to your 000webhost account> go to your control panel> click on file manager> provide your password and click on "Continue" button> double click on "Public_HTML"> mark the installation file and click on "Rename" button> now change the name "Installation" to any one and save it by clicking on tick mark button above> now close the window clicking on the "Previous" button and Log-Out the file manager for your all Joomla files security
- Go to your site and see that you got a total shaped Joomla website for free and quickly
- Now go to your "Admin Control Panel" directly by writing this address www.anyname.com/administrator or www.anyname.abc.com/administrator or you can go to your "Admin Control Panel" from your Joomla site front page
- You can do all of the changes of your Joomla site from your "Admin Control Panel"
